This Privacy Policy explains how AlcanCase (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our online store, make a purchase, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.

AlcanCase is the retail business operating this online store through a limited liability company. For the activities in which we determine why and how your personal information is used, we act as the responsible business or data controller under applicable privacy law.
Our store uses Shopify to provide its e-commerce platform and Shopify Payments to support payment processing. Shopify and payment providers may have separate responsibilities for certain processing activities, as explained below.

2. Personal Information We Collect
The information involved depends on how you interact with our store and the features you use.

6. Shopify and Payment Processing
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide the platform, checkout, store functionality, and related services.
When you use Shopify Payments, Shopify processes customer payment data to provide payment services. The applicable payment processor may also process personal information independently to satisfy its own regulatory, fraud prevention, sanctions, or other legal obligations. Payment credentials entered at checkout are handled through the relevant payment service. We use the resulting transaction records to confirm payment, fulfill orders, issue refunds, and resolve payment-related inquiries.
We will never ask you to send your banking password, card security code, or complete payment card number by email to obtain a refund.
Where you choose an accelerated checkout, digital wallet, or other third-party payment feature, that provider’s privacy terms also apply to its handling of your information.

Shopify Enhanced Services
When Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify uses information from interactions with our store together with information from interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services. These can include personalization, store improvements, and advertising-related features.

7. When We Disclose Personal Information

Operational service providers. Shopify, hosting and technology providers, customer support services, and other providers receive the information needed to operate and support the store.

Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertisements; you may continue to receive non-personalized advertising.
10. Marketing Communications
You may receive promotional emails when you subscribe or when another lawful basis permits us to send them.

We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure that your marketing opt-out continues to be respected.

Where permitted, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for evidence of authorization and any verification required by law.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Requests are ordinarily handled without charge, except where the law specifically permits a reasonable fee.
United States Residents
